Indabar Restaurant in Moscow
Every detail bewitches at new Arkady Novikov’s restaurant «Indabar». Entering this restaurant, it feels like you turn to be at Eastern ultramodern fairy tale.
If you want to get into the restaurant, you need to shake prince Shakyamuni’s hand, which holds lotus (the door knob of the restaurant looks like his hand). At the entrance a huge mystery golden Buddha statue meets its guests. Lots of candle flashes reflect on the statue.
There are Eastern ornaments, beaded curtains, carpets, various vases and figurines, which are hand-made and painted, leather padded stool and colorful cosy sofas with big velvet pillows, golden carved frame mirrors. All that is surprisingly combined with straight lines of modern design, professional acoustics and plasma monitors on the walls. The main specialty of the restaurant is soft light and properly thought flashes of light and its shadows. Even the menu is presented here with special flashlight. The atmosphere of Eastern magic is added by hookah bar and two hookah lounges. There are also private zones, karaoke cabinets and a dance floor (the restaurant works as a night club during weekends).
At the menu you may find the most popular dishes of Eastern cuisine – Uzbek plov; Chinese dim sums; Japanese rolls; kebabs; Indian chicken, prepared in a tandoor, and, of course beloved belyashi, chebureki and hand-made samsa.
