This is Russia’s largest puppet theatre and the place to be for all things puppetry! Obraztsov boasts over 3,000 puppets from around the world on display in the museum as well as a dedicated puppetry library.

COSMONAUT DAY

12th April 2012

This Russian holiday celebrates the first manned space flight made on April 12th 1961. The day is a commemoration of Russian achievement in space exploration, and was last year adopted by the United Nations and declared an International Day of Human Space Flight.
