Visa Support: Invitation Letters to Russia for guests
Please note that getting a Russian visa is rather sophisticated and bureaucratic process. The Petrovka Loft does not provide documents (such as invitations and other) that you may need to launch the visa process. The Petrovka Loft does not issue tourist support documents. Visa invitation letters, which are required in order to apply for a Russian visa, can be ordered from our visa agent (https://www.getrussian.com/visa/order?a_aid=Petrovka). Please, note that one invitation is enough for foreign guests, even if he/she plans to visit other Russian cities as well as Moscow. Therefore, we strongly recommend to specify (while ordering the invitation via Internet) the following:
The whole period of your stay in Russia;
All the cities that you plan to visit (beyond Moscow)
Dates of stay in each of the cities;
The hotels, in which you plan to stay at each of the cities.—If you do not know the hotels in the different cities you are visiting yet, you may select any hotel name from the list proposed at the above mentioned web-site.
While ordering your invitation via the GetRussian website, you will pay for this service via credit card. The Petrovka Loft will not charge the cost of invitation upon your arrival.
Upon your arrival at the Petrovka Loft, we can arrange all the registration formalities related to your visa, which is required by Russian Law. The cost for this service is 600 Rubles per person.
According to the Russian laws on the status of foreigners in Russia, every foreigner who comes to Moscow should have his/her Russian visa registered within 72 hours of arrival (3 business days for foreigners).
Please note the following warning: Lack of visa registration may cause problems with passport control while exiting the country. Therefore, the Petrovka Loft may refuse to check-in the guest if the foreigner entered the country more than 3 business days before coming to the Loft and cannot provide the visa registration documents for this period. To arrange the registration, the Loft hotel takes copies of the guest’s passport, visa and migration card. If the stamps and, in particular, entering dates are not visible on the copies, the originals must be submitted to the Russian Migration Service.
